"Cannot complete operation" when I click 'Add Printer'
I have admin status, but it won't even let me try to
install a printer; it just gives me the above message whenever I try! Thanks, ~Mike On a seperate note, when I tried to intall DirectX 9b, it said that the software hadn't been microsoft verified o.0 so I am trying their solution, but when I type: net stop cryptsvc ren %systemroot%\system32\catroot2 oldcatroot2 net start cryptsvc exit in the cmd line, the second line spits out a 'cannot find file' error. Any thoughts? |

Make sure you are actually trying to install a Windows XP compliant printer
driver. You may need to download one from the printer manufacturer's web site. See also http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/Clea...erDrivers.htm. -- Bruce Sanderson MVP It is perfectly useless to know the right answer to the wrong question. "Mike" wrote in message ...
