Default Want Auto Save Attachments To Folders

3rd attempt to post this using SeeMunkay. Still will not go !
Mozilla.org down ?

So trying here.

As an eMail comes in, save the attachment(s) to a user specified folder.

Want this to be automatic and not a manual one at a time user task.

TBird seems unable to accommodate this MOST important feature !

How do I do this ?

Running Win XP Pro.

TBird v52.8.0 (32 bit) says latest update.

I am using TB 52.7.0. AttachmentExtractor does not have full functionality
but does exactly what I want it to do; remove those infernal embedded images
mindless people use! Thank you.

Look around the addon page and see if there are any more like that.

There is a certain element of danger using an automated tool
like that, but the machine can likely be tipped over just
as easily if you do it manually. That means the risks
probably aren't all that unique. Just the number of things
you'll be extracting will be larger than normal (maybe
1x1 pixel GIF files or something).

This feature is _not_ built in to Thunderbird.

The FiltaQuilla extension adds this feature to Thunderbird, along
with many other new mail filter actions.

But unfortunately, the FiltaQuilla extension officially only supports
Thunderbird up to version 45.x.

You can find the FiltaQuilla extension he
