Default Intellipoint mouse problem.

I have a Microsoft Wireless Mouse with Bluetooth. The mouse has a
scroll wheel that also scrolls horizontally. When ever i move it
sideways whatever program I am in closes. I have looked at all the
settings and none of them would cause this to happen. I would not
bother me so much if it always did it but it has only did it for about
a week. The signal is good so I don't think that is the problem.
Everything else about the mouse works great. If anyone has any
suggestions to fix this problem please let me know.
