Default iexplore.exe-Application Error

My internet was working fine this am and now I cannot get on. I ran a full
scan and nothing has worked. When I click on Internet Explorer, I get two
pops up:

1. iexplore.exe-Application Error - It says: The instruction at
"0x08ab0451" referenced memory at "0x08ab0451." The memory could not be
"written". Click on OK to terminate the program and click on cancel to debug
the program.

2. Data Executive Prevention - Microsoft Windows - It says: To help
protect your computer, Windows has closed this program. Name: Internet
Explorer Publisher: Microsoft Corporation At the bottom it then says: Data
Execution Prevention helps protect against damage from viruses and other
security threats.

Thanks,
John
