Windows intaller
I just upgraded windows 98 to XP professional. I have
Office 2000 installed. Everytime I access a site now, the windows installer is trying to install something from office 2000 premium. I do not have the program disk. How do I get it from launching? |

Hi Joe,
Copy these lines into Notepad and save with a .reg extension. Change the folder number 10.0 according to O2K. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\C ommon] "UserData"=dword:00000001 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\F rontPage] "UserData"=dword:00000001 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\E xcel] "UserData"=dword:00000001 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\P owerPoint] "UserData"=dword:00000001 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\W ord] "UserData"=dword:00000001 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\O utlook] "UserData"=dword:00000001 -- All the Best, Kelly MS-MVP Win98/XP [AE-Windows® XP] Troubleshooting Windows XP http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_abc.htm http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm Top 10 Frequently Asked Questions and Answers http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/top10faqs.htm "Joe" wrote in message ...
