Program not responding

I keep getting this message when I try to close Outlook
Express. WhY
Another Question:
I tried to export my address book by clicking on File,
Export, and clicking :Microsoft Personal Exchange Address
Book. Message comes back that export has taken place, but I
can't find it.
HELP
