Default How to reinstall failed updates??

I have discovered that I have 2 XP Home updates from February that are
listed as "Failed" in my Windows update log. I would like to correct the
situation by installing them but I can't locate them among the Microsoft web
pages.

I followed a few links from the update log but they only took me to the
Microsoft Update sign-up page and I don't want or need that as I don't use
Office or Word . I'm happy with the Windows Update service.

Can someone point me in the right direction to reacquire 2 of the Feb. 2008
updates?

Hello Drew,

You can download manually at the Microsoft Update Catalog site:

http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Home.aspx

If you know the update number type it into the Search box (e.g.
KB943055)
When it finds it, click the Add button.
When you're finished adding downloads, click on 'View basket'.
Click the Download button.
Browse to a folder to hold your download(s).
Click the Continue button at the bottom.
Watch the progress bar. It will change from Wait to Done.
In your Download folder each file will be in its own folder, with the
executable inside.

p.s. for February 2008, I have these:

KB942830
KB942831
KB943055
KB946026
KB929338

Thank you for that information. I downloaded and installed the failed
upgrades from the Catalog.
