Default Windows Installer

I sure could use some help. My operating system is Windows XP pro. I have
somehow messed up Excel. Every time I try to open a document I have a
screen pop up to show Windows Installer. It cannot find some .cab file it
is looking for. I would love to get some direction on this please.

Thanks for your assistance. I am a little nervous about running this
program because I do not have the cd for Office if I need to reinstall.
