Default Coolermaster 212 EVO CPU cooler

The fan on this cooler is starting to get noisy after about 6 years,
which is pretty good service. I peeled back the stickers but alas, no
oil holes. I'm searching Amazon but they show about a zillion 120 mm
fans, So any idea what might be a good quality fan to replace this
Cooler master A12025-20CB-4BP-C1 PWM fan.
12 volt 0.36 amps 2000rpm -4 pin connector,.
I like good quality fans for their quite and reliable operation.

Thanks in advance, Rene

See if you can find a fan with ball-bearings.
They are long life fans.

Default Worst hardware ever? (was Coolermaster 212 EVO CPU cooler)

https://youtu.be/uqncQqbLx3k

As described in that video, Coolermaster produced a CPU
cooler that did not work with Intel motherboards, without
even advising Intel motherboard users of that fact. Years
after the fact was known, Coolermaster neither corrected the
problem nor included a warning.

I know that for a fact because I bought one and suffered the
same fate as the YouTube video maker in the link above. Never
experienced that bad of a failure from a hardware maker
before. Difficult to believe.

I was posting about fans for a 212 EVO cooler, not about an N520 and I
received a good post from Rodney Pont, So I am quite happy.

Received my Noctua NF-F12 fan today and installed it, It is sure quite
compared to my old one, and the build quality is super even the package
is well done and it includes extension cable, splitter, speed reducer,
Silicon mounts and screws. A very impressive unit. Thanks again Rodney
for pointing me in the right direction.

I use Noctua fans in my personal builds and have found them to be
excellent and exactly as you described. Quiet, well built, and they come
with the things most people might need to get them connected. I think
you'll continue to be happy with it.
