Default Windows 10 S (****e Edition) is going to confuse people

https://www.theverge.com/2017/5/2/15...10s-operating-
system-confusion

Introducing, Windows ****e.

For the first half of Microsofts presentation, the message was
crisp, clear, and concise. Windows 10 S is Windows 10 with its
wings slightly clipped: it can only run apps from the Windows
Store, disabling compatibility with the enormous breadth of
Windows programs out there, which in the educational context
translates to better security, consistent performance, focus for
students, and improved battery life. Its cheaper and less
versatile than Windows 10 Pro, which is exactly what schools are
looking for (and the thing thats had them gravitating toward
Googles Chrome OS in recent times).

I sincerely wish M$ would just publish one edition and be
done with it. I am still ****ed at XP Home Edition.

All home editions sucked. They were designed to keep the helpless -
helpless. The remote invitation thing was broken straight out of the box.
Always had to edit the file and put the public IP address in it. How many
users knew how to do that?

Tablets and mobile phones will only hurt the eyes of students.

Why should we care? Facebook, Twitter, tablets and mobile
phones have already destroyed their brains.
