Urgent: WinXP file synchronization - Help!!!
I setup offline file synchronization with a network drive, but the synch ate
up my "system" hard disk. I would prefer to have the offline files stored on my "data" (second) hard disk. How can I 1) remove these files from my "system" disk and 2) make the Win XP synch utility use the "data" disk to store offline files? I need this resolved asap. Help!!! Thanks and sorry for the urgency of this. Keith |

Urgent: WinXP file synchronization - Help!!!
Thanks for all your help!!!
The direction I needed! keith "Lanwench [MVP - Exchange]" ahoo.com wrote in message ... I think you need a resource kit utility to move the offline files cache....I can't remember the name offhand. Also check out www.centered.com (not trying to sound like a broken record in here but I find it much superior to offline files).... Urgent: WinXP file synchronization - Help!!!
No prob - hope it helps. To answer the other question, it's Cache Mover from
the W2k resource kit.... but again, I do prefer SecondCopy now that I've seen the light! (no, I have no affiliation w/that company) Keith wrote: Thanks for all your help!!!
