Default "My Computer" renames itself

Every few days My Computer, My Network and My Documents
keeps reverting to the default names after I rename them
to something different. After trying to fix this for a
year I reformatted the drive and did a fresh install of
XP Home and it still is happening! Any suggestions?

Hi Fletch,

There are two places to rename them. What is the path you are using? Also,
try this edit:

Save Settings on Exit (Line 54)

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
