Default Cannot Upgrade to Movie Maker 2

I've downloaded the install file for movie maker 2 from
the microsoft website and run the installation. But movie
maker does not upgrade to movie maker 2. The install
seems to run, but I still have the original version of
movie maker. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

I actually found the article in the Microsoft KB, but that
did not work.

Copy the contents of
the "C:\WINDOWS\RegisteredPackages\{60BFF50D-FB2C-4498-
A577-C9548C390BB9}"

The registered packages folder is blank
