You forgot to tell us what kind of keyboard and mouse you have. If they are usb, you need to either enable legacy usb in the BIOS or simply install with a ps/2 keyboard and a ps/2 mouse. !!Mouse disappears in Winxp SP2 setup HELP!
im using a p/s2 keyboard and a usb mouse with a p/s2 converter, in the bio i
cannot see anything that mentions legacy, but where it says USB controllder for both keyboard and mouse control there set to bios not os. the thing is the mouse is working before it starts installing the devices, it when it get to about 80% the curser vanishes and the keyboard it non responsive, the num key doesnt work the light just stays on. I think I'd just try a different mouse then, one without an adapter. Malke -- Elephant Boy Computers www.elephantboycomputers.com "Don't Panic!" MS-MVP Windows - Shell/User |
