Default Use Mozilla 1.5 to read e-mail?

How can I get Messenger 6.0 to use my default Browser, Mozilla 1.5, to read my
hotmail messages?

Right now it insists on trying to open IE which is NOT my default browser and is
not set up to get my hotmail messages.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Greetings,

Unfortunately you can't, MSN Messenger 6.x will always start Internet Explorer.

Thanks Jonathan,

But I will not be allowing Internet Explorer to open on my computer. I would
rather go through the few extra steps of manually opening my hotmail account in
Mozilla than being exposed to the additional security holes in IE.

I'm not suggesting that Mozilla and other browsers are without their own
security problems but it is my understanding that Internet Explorer has the
worst and therefore I will avoid it until it is thoroughly cleaned up.

Again, thanks for your answer.

Hi,

You're welcome -- I'd just like to add that Windows Messenger 4.7 does open the default
browser, the Internet Explorer exclusiveness started in MSN Messenger 5 (and continues in 6).
