System 32 Window Opens On Start-up
Hi All,
I recenly realised that the Windows "System 32" window was opening on startup, I don't knwo why this is the case. I don't believe my computer is infected in any way, and I only reformatted and re-installed XP less than 2 weeks ago, so I think generally my computer should be in good health. I recently installed MSN and Yahoo IM on my computer, is it possible the problem is related to any of those programs? Anyone have any soloutions for this? I have tried: http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;EN-US;170086 I couldn't really find any values that matched up with what this article refers to. ------- Regards, CB. |

Information by Bruce Chambers: This can be caused by a blank entry, such as can be left behind by an incomplete program removal, in the: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and/or HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run keys.
