Tried all that and ever reference I could find on Google..


I have found that (when using welcome screen) when I log
in too quickly from a reboot, the volume icon disappears
(along with others). If I wait until my floppy drive is
scanned (twice-another annoyance) after a reboot or
startup, then all is fine. Must have something to do with
the time it takes to load all that needs to be loaded.
