problems downloading clip art
Why can't I download clip art from the internet? When I
try to "save picture as" it saves it in the designated folder but I try to open it, there is no clip art. Do I have to change a setting somewhere? I use AOL. I can download clip art from Microsoft's clip art gallery but that's it. |

Probably because the clipart you want is for sale and
copyrighted. The picture you see on the web is a layer with a transparent top layer, you can't click on the image, you have to pay to download the file. wrote in message ... | Why can't I download clip art from the internet? With AOL, you'll want to turn off "compressed graphics" in their settings. This will avoid *.art files when saving images. The *.art format is compatible with AOL and very few other programs. Choose a more compatible format when saving (look in drop down list of "save as" box for available format types. -- Sharon F MS MVP - Windows Shell/User |
