Is is possible to save pictures to a CD for folks without
Win XP? How would I do that so that they can view the
pictures? Also assuming that they don't have the
graphics programs I have to open the pictures.......

Thanks,
Deloy

You can burn them to a CD-R disk like any other files. Make sure that the
recipient has a viewer that will display the file types that you send them.
MS Paint is included with all versions of Windows and can show most graphic
file formats. Make sure that you send instructions for viewing the images.

There are other programs that can build a complete slideshow type file. One
is a freeware app called IrfanView. It does require that you have the Nero
Burning Rom burner software with a plugin.

Yes, of course. What operating system the two of you have is
irrelevant. The only issue is the graphics format you use and
whether they have an appropriate program to read it.

If they don't have an appropriate graphics program (or at least
an appropraite graphics viewer, they can't view the pictures. But
there is a wide-enough range of graphics formats and free viewers
available, so that you can find several workable combinations.
