Won't accept windows updates

Has this happened to anyone else? When I try to download
any update it goes through the whole process and then at
the end it says failed in red. It says to retry and I've
done that many times with no luck. This just started to
do this in the last 3 weeks. Any suggestions to correct
my problem?
