HELP - How to clean up Systray?
johnf said:
If I go into Customise Notifications, it's broken in two sections, Current Items & Past Items. In Past Items there is lots of rubbish, e.g. "Your display is e-color corrected" (I tried e-color out once and later uninstalled it) LightFrame idle (which has my AV icon alongside it !!) A few others which are still valid but only used very occasionally also have wrong icons. I have searched everywhere, but cannot find where this Past Items listing is stored. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? How to Clear Past Items from the Notification Area http://support.microsoft.com/default...;EN-US;q283084 Delete the IconStreams and PastIconsStream values from the following registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\TrayNotify END PROCESS for Explorer.exe, then restart it. |
