cannot log on second user

cannot log on second user

I created a new user with admin rights. When I go to log
on as new user either buy switch user or from cold boot
the name appears, the password is accepted but all Im
left with is a blank windows-blue screen (ie not the one
of death)Any suggestions
All help appreciated and thanks in advance
