Problem installing HP all in one printer
I get the following error message when trying to install a HP Psc 1210 all
in one printer scanner etc. "RPC server unavailable could not install" I have looked on Google and tried two solutions I saw there. 1. Reinstall winXP service pack 2. Running the System File Checker Neither has solved my problem. Can anyone help further? Many thanks Dave |

Problem installing HP all in one printer
Hi Dave
Try this: StartRun - then type in "services.msc" - without the quotes. Scroll = down the next screen until you find 'Remote Procedure Call'. Make sure = that the Service has been started, if not right click on it and select = 'Start'. Also, in the same list, make sure that the 'Windows Installer' Service = has been started.
