For what it's worth, I often have to send documents or instructions to a
remote site on the top of a dormant volcano on an island off the coast
of Africa in the Atlantic (I'm not making this up). The easiest way to
get those documents to the remote site staff, who are not au fait with
computers, is by fax.

A pretty extreme example, but if we all took "Good" Idiot's advice, I
would have no way of getting tech info to our staff.
