Default Cannot print with Foxit

I am using Windows 7 with Foxit Reader Ver. 7.1.3.320

I can read pdfs just fine but I cannot print them. The Foxit "print" panel
has the "Print" box at the bottom of the screen but that section of the
screen is cut off, making it impossible to print anything. I am using an
Asus standard wide screen.

I hate to do it but I may have to revert to Adobe if I cannot print.

Anybody else have this problem and what can be done about it?

Alternately, what is another good (free) pdf reader?

Thanks

Walter

De-maximize it then put the task bars at the top of the page.
I have the task bars up top and never run it maximized.

Says nothing about the screen resolution, only its aspect ratio.

If the windows is bigger than the screen, you may get stuck having to
move the window around (presuming it does not reset its position so its
top window edge doesn't match on the top screen edge).

With focus set on the oversized window:
- Press Alt+Spacebar (brings up Control menu).
- Press M (_m_ove window).
- Use the arrow keys to move around the window.

That assumes either using the parent (main) window or a child window
(e.g., print dialog) also has a control menu.

Many applications assume a minimal screen resolution. Used to be
640x480, then 800x600, then 1024x768, and now many seems to presume the
monitor has a minimum resolution of 1280x600. You might have to up the
screen resolution in Windows to accomodate newer programs that assume a
larger minimally available resolution.

You sure there is no scrollbar shown in the print dialog?

Type of monitor (CRT or LCD)? If LCD, what is its *native* resolution
(which what you should be using)?

Sumatra for a basic, lightweight reader. No javascript
or extras. It just reads PDFs. Also can extract text.

PDF XChange Viewer for a free PDF editor that can
be used to fill in fields and other editing operations.
I have v. 2.5.214. At some point after that it went from
free to trial. You'll need to make sure you don't get
the trial version.

Foxit was OK years ago, but then began to get bloated
and naggy.

I can't remember the last time I printed from a PDF.
I assume both Sumatra and PDFX work for that, but I'm
not sure whether I've used them to print.

Must be running in really low resolution; my own laptop runs 1366x768
and the panel fits... I use a slightly older FoxIt than the current
version...

I suspect the OP is Walter E. Requadt of the site and author of the book
How Life Really Works available at the site.

Optimally he could put Walter and the site in a delimited sig.

It was off-topic from his post, as are the majority of sigs.

It was not in a sigblock. WLM does do sigblocks.
So it was spam.
