Interesting... I'm taking that message as meaning the site is not
available in the USA or Canada.

I'm in the center of the USA, and the site works fine for me. Works in
Safari, also.

Works fine in the southeastern US also, using Firefox.

Not too sure I'd pay that much for magnifiers when I could get these for
less:

Personally, I wouldn't buy either one :-)

No. It means that it's only available in USA or Canada. I can't browse
it from the UK.

I take it as UN-available outside the USA and Canada

Adjustable focus reading spectacles can currently only be sold in the UK
by, or under the supervision of, optometrists, dispensing opticians or
doctors

Ah, I guessed backwards! Thanks, Stephen.

Looking at the glasses posted by SC Tom, they are not available for
international shipping.

Anyone know why?

Here in New Zealand all I get is the Google Search home page.

There are two classes of people. Those who divide people into
two classes and those who don't. I belong to the second class.

Amazon UK have some. I can't see any restrictions.

I bought a pair similar to that for watching TV from a distance. Didn't
work since they're mostly for magnifying stuff that's already close.

These TV glasses worked much better for distance (far cheaper on eBay).

They also have/had listings for banned products such as paint stripper
and weedkiller that actually work ...
