![]() -----Original Message----- When viewing the installation history on the windows update page I noticed this. There is a critical update that was successfully installed on my computer on Feb, 27. The installation history says that that same critical update, which was successful on the Feb 27, failed to download on the March 4, and that it also failed to download on March 23 and many other later dates. How come it downloaded successfully the first time, but every other time it attempted to download it has failed? Many of the other updates on my computer are the same way. They download the first time successfully, but then on every other later date, it says that installation failed. Can you explain why this is occuring? Are updates installed every day? It seems like my computer is downloading updates everyday, including new ones that are successful, and updates that were previously downloaded successfully but failed this time. . I've been having exactly the same problem with critical update 814033 which is supposed to ensure that updates are successfully installed. According to my installation history this update was successfully installed on March 20 but every day since them automatic update advises me that it is available for installing and the installation fails when I try to do it. Any suggestion anyone ? |
