Default System Restore

I'm new to Win 8 --- slow learner I guess.
How do I get to system restore? I haven't found access
via control panel or via a computer search.

In your search engine, try this

site:eightforums.com system restore

I found this in the results. The second method
is for while you're still within a normal boot of Windows.

In the control panel click on "recovery".

I find no mention of system restore there --- just 8 categories
of stuff . The "System and Security" section doesn't mention
system restore.

When I open my control it goes to "All Control Panel Items" that is
where "recovery" is.
