The truth hurts.
Read the links.
Desktop Linux sucks and anyone who takes the time to try Linux will
reach that conclusion.

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:68.0) Gecko/20100101
(That's you).

Sorry you weren't intelligent enough to figure that out.

You can always mess around with the WSL (Linux subsystem).

He is trolling

Wrong.
That's your knee jerk reaction to someone pointing out the faults of
desktop Linux.
You prefer to languish in the hallowed halls of Linux superiority. The
only problem is desktop Linux isn't superior to Windows or OSX.

In fact it's a train wreck.

You might want to consider that Linux, despite being free for decades,
still hasn't managed to make any inroads in market share yet Android,
ChromeOS and others have.

So what is Linux doing wrong?
I dunno, but people like you certainly aren't helping.

Try reading the article and you might have a clue.

No need to worry about malware, spyware, keystroke loggers, or the
Biggie...Ransomware...only available on Windows....not on Linux.

You might want to re-think that.

*Linux servers under attack by Lilocked ransomware *

"Lilocked ransomware is targeting Linux servers and encrypting data
stored on them since mid-July. In the last two weeks, the attacks have
been observed to be more frequent.
The affected users are redirected to the dark web and asked to make a
payment to decrypt their files."

P.S. This is just too easy. Linux dorks aren't what they used to be:
semi-intelligent.

Hey dorkis...here is from the web page:

Impact of a Lilocked attack

It has been observed that Lilocked doesn’t affect system files, but files
with extensions such as HTML, CSS, PHP, JS, INI, and other image formats.

Image forats ONLY, system files are not affected...unlike WindBlows where
the whole system is locked.

WindBlows dorks are sooooo Stupid.....Nice try thought Dorkis......

Seems attributed to unpached Exim.

1) Like the idiots at Equifax not patching Apache Struts for 14
months...patch your damn servers.

2) Chroot your mail server...do note only data files in user realm
affected.

I really don't care what they (or you) think about it. If it doesn't
work for you fine, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way
out. For many of us it works just fine as a desktop OS, and Linux is
the favored OS in the server and embedded worlds. Most of the people
dissing Linux run it every time they turn on a modern TV, printer,
or almost any electronic device.

I've worked with Unix systems since the 1970s and left Windows in
favor of Linux 20 years ago. I've never had a reason to look back.
My last version of Windows was Win98, and I've never used Microft
Office at all. I frankly have no use for Microsoft or its products.
(The only reason for my presence in Windows-oriented newsgroups is that
I maintain it for others in my work.)
