read-only problem for me, too, just 1 folder
where is this folder? are you sure it's going to be safe to remove it? Have
you tried creating a small file on these folders to check it remains visible? depending on what file system is on the drive, you might be able to use a bootable disk from a previous OS, eg win98 and boot to command prompt then manually delete it from there. -- Claire "Chet" wrote in message ... I've got an empty folder, with an empty subfolder, which won't let me remove the read-only attribute, and keeps erroring that I can't delete it since it's "in use", which is a joke. Tried starting up under every possible config, still "in use". BS, it's 0 bytes!!! How do I delete the %$#%^ folder? |
