saitek p3000 gamepad frustration xp pro
There is a wealth of information on the Saitek site, ever a driver for your gamepad:
http://www.saitekusa.com/usa/supp/sd02.htm -- Mary Sauer MS MVP http://dgl.microsoft.com/ http://mvps.org/msauer/ "Meztoa" wrote in message news:Pnk935918A10BD5Dcrustyonecrustyorg@%... Saitek P3000 gamepad claims to be Xp compatable in fact is not. The install disc claims all intalled ok. Windows xp finds the devices but not any drivers to make it work. Dont get me wrong. Xp can load it as a basic gamepad but refused to find drivers to enable the full install and programability they ,Saitek, boast about on their web page. In fact p3000 is front page on Siatek web page. Yet if you look for a manual, any support drivers, extra profiles no where is p3000 listed . The program itself installed but if it is accesed it reminds you to plug in a programable saitek device, which of course winXp refused to identify. Help from somone that has had a successful install or knows the whereabouts of hacked/beta drivers that actually work help will be much appreciated. Any others that read this post beware Saitek p3000 is not fully xp compatable as they would have you believe on the packaging. It's kinda sad it looked like it could be a sharp addition to my gaming. Don't be fooled like I was Me Z to A |
