Default Blue Screen

Over the last week I have encountered the blue screen on
several occasions advising of a serious problem with
Windows XP. It appears right after the welcome screen
comes up. I have not added any new software or hardware
and have not previoulsy had problems with XP. Iam running
a Dell Pentium 4. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Default Blue Screen

I'll defer to Venky here, but blue screens are typically the sign of a
hardware problem and they're not easy to pinpoint. Your first guess might be
a corrupted driver.
