That's kind of a broad question. MS Excel has a template that lays out
an invoice-type spreadsheet, and you then fill in the blanks. If you
don't have Excel, or any other form of spreadsheet program, you would be
well-advised to obtain such applications. You can download OpenOffice
for free...etc if you need more info on that.

If you need to connect your invoice to a data source, like a database of
existing orders, then it gets more complicated. A program like
QuickBooks or similar would provide invoicing and invoice templates you
can use.

It depends on what your specific needs are and what software you have
available.
