How Do I Enable Command Prompt
Click Start, Run and enter REGEDIT Go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Wind ows\System Look in the right pane for a value called DisableCMD. If present it should be 0 (zero). If its not, then double click it and set it to 0. If it isn't there, right click in a blank area of the right pane and select New, DWord value and name it DisableCMD. Leave the value set at 0. Note, you may have to create the System subkey as well. -- Doug Knox, MS-MVP Windows XP/ Windows Smart Display Win 95/98/Me/XP Tweaks and Fixes http://www.dougknox.com -------------------------------- Associate Expert ExpertZone - http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone -------------------------------- Please reply only to the newsgroup so all may benefit.
