Default broadcast HDTV via windows media encoder

Hi

I have tried to use several different HDTV cards as a source for windows
media encoder,
so that I can 'down convert' the bit rate and broadcast the HDTV show
wirelessly.

Trouble is I cannot see either of my HDTV cards as sources for Windows Media
Encoder.

Any ideas why?

I CAN see a webcam as a source for WME, and can successfully broacast this
video/audio stream wirelessly.

cheers

The new session wizard should open auto when starting WME,if not press,
new session, capture, video, then click on the scroll bar for youre video input
device,then click configure.
