XP HE settings reset after logoff
I had some trouble and I repaired/reinstalled windows from
a boot disk. Now I have this problem: Whenever I log off, all my settings are reset to the default. I had it set to look like windows classic, and now now it looks like teletubbies. I had it show the system files and file extensions, and now it hides those. Some things remain, but most(including the start menu and programs) are constantly reset whenever I log off. Any help? I use Windows XP Home edition. [pardon my double post] |

But even scarier, if you play it forward it installs Windows XP! |
