Network Path Not Found
I have two Dell's hooked up with a cross-over cable. Both
are running XP Pro. I ran the Network Setup Wizard on both. The "secondary" machine-- not connected to the internet directly-- can see the "primary" machine and read its files, connect to the internet through it etc. The problem is that the primary machine sees the secondary machine on "view workgroup computers" but when I double click on it, I get the message that access is denied, the network path not found. I have done a search on this newsgroup and found similar problems, but no solutions posted. I'm new to this group and would appreciate any help offered. TIA. Jerry |
