Default address book

Things are getting really weird. I can't add a new address or delete an
old address from my email address book. I get an error message that states:
"MSN24mailabview" the number chances, but the computer can not open the
file, and wants me to pick from a list of programs to use.
I also can not remove or change a program, restore to a previous date,
and the list goes on and on.

Is this thing haunted or what? Any help/insight will be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks,
W.B.

It may be related to an update;
problems with the Address Book caused by KB911567:
