Problems Importing Video into Windows Movie Maker
Help!
I'm having problems importing video content into Windows Movie Maker. The content I'm trying to import is video taken with a Nikon Digital Camera. The type of file I'm trying to import is a QuickTime Movie. Whenever I try to import a video it comes up with a message box saying "The file C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\My Pictures\David's Pix\David's Pix 002.MOV is not a supported file type, and it cannot be imported into Windows Movie Maker." Thanks for your imput! |

Problems Importing Video into Windows Movie Maker
You need to convert the MOV (Quicktime) file first before you can import it
into WMM. Take a look through the converting pages at PapaJohn's website at: http://www.papajohn.org/MM2-Importing-Video-MOV.html -- Cari (MS-MVP) Windows Client - Printing & Imaging www.coribright.com/Windows "David William Lindstrom" wrote in message ... Cheers to Cari !!
Thank you very much. I did what you said to do. I downloaded the RAD Video Tools from Papajohn's Website, installed them, converted my files to AVI files and inported them into WMM and it works! Thank you. -- David William Lindstrom "Cari (MS-MVP)" wrote: You need to convert the MOV (Quicktime) file first before you can import it into WMM.
