3D hardware acceleration

I recently downloaded some games from AIM with the game chooser icon. I
installed everything but when i try playin any of um a Web Driver - Error
comes up sayin, " No 3D hardware acceleration found. Your graphics card may
not support #d acceleration, or your Direct-X version may be out of date". I
downloaded the latest verion of D-X and tried again but the same error popped
up. Any thoughts?

Hi, do you know what your graphics card is, and have you download the latest
drivers from the manufacturers site?

I have no idea about the graphic card, my brother just gave me this comp. cuz
my old one crashed but i never had probs. with playin games or videos before

Hi, go to start, then run and type in dxdiag and then ok. Wait a while for
the program to collect the info then click on save information and save the
file. Open it then copy and paste in a reply. You might also find more help
at the microsoft.public.windowsxp.games newsgroup....
