Standby and Hibernation
Starting about three weeks ago when I attempt to put my system into standby
or hibernation the computer actually goes into the state but about two minutes later it powers back up. Any ideas? -- Jim Mathis

Have you installed in new programs in that time? Maybe something is try to access the Internet.
Check in the device manager for items that can bring out of stand by (like the nic) -- Dave Vair CNE, CNA, MCP, A+, N+ .. select properties of the hardware item and check the power management tab.
