Printing Problems

I Just bought a New Toshiba Laptop computer. I installed a software
that i use for my job which is called Eclipse. I tried to print from
that program and it does not print, it says printer not responding.
However, i can print from any other program on the computer by using
the same or any other printer. I Just cannot print from the Elipse
program. This program is a Dos base program. What can i do to print?

Since you know your printer works and the problem is specific to the
Eclipse software, contact Eclipse's tech support for help with their
program.

I also installed this program on a Win.98 and it prints without a
problem. This new computer is a WIN.XP. I guess it would make a
difference????

Possibly the software was designed for win9* not winnt

What type of printer is connected to the Windows XP machine?
If it is an USB printer, connect a parallel port (LPT1) printer
and install the drivers for it.

If you think it may be a Win 98/XP problem, you could right-click the
shortcut -- properties -- compatability and run it like Win 95/98.
