Default Logical Disk Manager Service

I am using Windows XP sp2 and when I try to access the Logical Disk Manager
(i.e. right click My Computer ManageComputer ManagementDisk Management)
I get the Error Messages;; No such interface supported
and Unable to connect to Logical Disk Manager Service
I am trying to format a new HDD (160Mb)
I have checked "Services" and the Logical Disk Manager is set to Automatic
and Started.
any advice ??
Cliff

Are you looking at dmadmin service or dmserver? The Disk manager uses
dmadmin (Logical Disk Manager Administrative Service).

Default Logical Disk Manager Service

Hi Pavel, I tried both Logical Disk Manager and LDMAdmin Service and got the
same error message both times.
