Talk about dumb and stupid advice. One of the reasons the update is

ROFL! Please go ahead and use Windows Update to update your video

windowsupdate still list those outdated driver, if I have already installed more
recent, directly from the Nvidia web site

OR how can I configure the Windows Update to not show me these updates ?

Hi,
Ignore the MS driver files unless you know of a very good reason to use
them. (they are generic drivers only) You always need to go to the
manufacturers website to use their drivers they are written specifically for
your hardware.

Go to Windows Update | In the left head frame |
Under: Other Options | Click:
Personalize Windows Update | Click: Scan for updates |
Pick from the following items to specify what you see when you use Windows
Update. To apply your changes, click Save Settings.
Choose which categories and updates to display on Windows Update

Unfortunately, "personalize" doesn't include hiding "driver updates".

In Windows Update V5, you can manually hide the files buy checking the
hide box under the update/driver. I would do this as soon as you find a
driver update offered so you don't accidently install it.

Good advice. Not a chance of that happening here. ;-)
