Default PC Lose Network Connection to another PC on LAN

Home LAN.

It seems randomly that I lose my Win XP Pro wifi connection to the
printer connected USB directly to a Win 7 PC(1).

So I checked if I could see my Win 7 PC(1) from my Win XP Pro PC and it
say it is not there.

I struggle to get it back.

Same Workgroup.
From Win XP PC Other PCs are there showing folders !

It is not there again !

Why is that ?

From my Win XP Pro I got another PC running Win 7 Pro(2) to connect to
the printer via the first Win 7 Pro PC(1). and the print job went through.

Seems to be a Win XP Pro to Win 7 Pro problems.

How to fix ???

I had a problem between xp Media and XP PRO .
Both shared a directory.

In one direction Network showed the other computer ,
but the media comp did not show anything .

So I filled in a link manually , with \\Internetbuggy\netdir as target ,
using the computer name and the assigned name of the share dir .

That worked (to my surprise).
