Default Mouse Hover

I have an annoying feature on the mouse - when I pause over an item to read
it the mose selects it anyway!! Is there some way to turn this off??

Try Power Toy's Tweak UI from Microsoft:

Install, run and select 'Mouse' / 'Hover' option.

Open My computer and click Tools | Folder Options. Click in the circle to
double click.
