Hi All,

I am sitting in front of 1080p monitor connected to WinXP Pro netbook. I
have RDP connections to two Win10Pro machines, one of which has WinXP Pro
open in a VM. That means I control 4 Windows machines or vice versa. I hear
chimes. An audio alert is associated with an event. Is there an easy way to
decide which machine chimed.

Thanks.

What if you changed the "chime" sound file on one of
the machines, to another sound ? Would that be sufficient
to distinguish it ?

I was hoping there was an "accessibility" option, like if
your IT guy was deaf, it would help to have a visual notifier,
but I don't see such an option.

Even if you could put a VU meter on the screen, it would
be better than nothing,.

Random beeps and boops on Windows 10 are probably Notifications,
such as the "Buy Office 365" advertising notification.

Paul,

In my XPsp3 pro there is such an option: Start - control panel -
accessibility - sound - Use SoundSentry (three options: flash the caption,
dialog or screen)
