At that price, so does Best Buy (OEM versions):
http://preview.tinyurl.com/znf42xp (32-bit) $135.99
http://preview.tinyurl.com/pp69g2b (64-bit) $139.99

Google's Shopping (aka Froogle) at http://preview.tinyurl.com/zzczqah
shows places selling it for cheaper and higher.

They would be System Builder ones. Not Dell/HP/Acer royalty OEM.

My other machine has one of those, purchased Nov.2015 or so.
I haven't noticed a problem with it. (Purchased from an
equivalent Canadian source.) Win7 Pro SP1 x64.

OEM, like the OP advertised. I wasn't going to compare apples (retail)
to oranges (OEM/System Builder).

I thought the "OEM" moniker as of Windows 7 got changed to "System
Builder" but everyone still uses the "OEM" moniker.

Strangely, it wanted me to pick it up in Rockwall Texas. There's a Best
Buy more than 100 miles closer to me than that.

Read the W7 reviews there, they are interesting.

That's been the Newegg price for the last several years!

I'm assuming "it" was bestbuy.com, not whatever Google found compared
with the location of a Best Buy store.

With orders of $35+, you get free shipping - assuming you can wait a
week to get it. They're delivering physical media instead of many
online vendors that sell just the electronic media that you'll have to
copy onto physical media.

When I looked at their ad for the 64-bit version, it guessed at a
location. Yep, it was not the closest one but then I have geolocation
disabled in my web browser. So all they could go by is my IP address
and everyone knows that is inaccurate, like anywhere from a 30 to 100
mile range. There is a "Change" button next to the Store Pickup line
where I could change to a much closer retail store for physical pickup.
Instead of their IP-located store that was 17 miles away, the Change
button let me pick a store that is 5 miles away.

For the *PRO* edition? Yeah, true for the Home edition but not for the
Pro version. Wait until after Monday to see what their non-sale price
is on the Pro edition.

Yes, it was Best Buy's site. They also picked a zip code that wasn't
mine but it was in the same city. I'm not sure why the site picked
Rockwall as the closest store as there are several closer stores. If I
went to rockwall it'd be almost an all-day trip.

I don't mind an electronic version as long as I actually get the ISO,
not just a one-time installation.

Mine was enabled and they DID use if for the ZIP code, so it sounds like
they don't know where their stores are.

All the cool kids downloaded the ISOs from Digital River when they were
still hosting them. ;-)

These days, I think they're still available from

Cool, and I apparently forgot about Heidoc! Win 7 ISO's and a whole lot
more.
