Chimes
Hi All,
I am sitting in front of 1080p monitor connected to WinXP Pro netbook. I have RDP connections to two Win10Pro machines, one of which has WinXP Pro open in a VM. That means I control 4 Windows machines or vice versa. I hear chimes. An audio alert is associated with an event. Is there an easy way to decide which machine chimed. Thanks. |

What if you changed the "chime" sound file on one of the machines, to another sound ? Would that be sufficient to distinguish it ? I was hoping there was an "accessibility" option, like if your IT guy was deaf, it would help to have a visual notifier, but I don't see such an option. Even if you could put a VU meter on the screen, it would be better than nothing,. Random beeps and boops on Windows 10 are probably Notifications, such as the "Buy Office 365" advertising notification. Paul |

Chimes
Paul,
I was hoping there was an "accessibility" option, In my XPsp3 pro there is such an option: Start - control panel - accessibility - sound - Use SoundSentry (three options: flash the caption, dialog or screen) Regards, Rudy Wieser -- Origional message: Paul schreef in berichtnieuws ...
