Default XP SP2 Update On CD-ROM?

Hi. Will Microsoft offer the XP SP2 update on CD-ROM for
$10.00 the same day it is released on Windows Update?
Thanks, Craig.

AFAIK they haven't made any announcements. Watch for an announcement at
www.microsoft.com. My recollection is that they made past service packs
available like this, so it's likely. My hunch is that the Microsoft
marketing machine will go into full power when SP2 is released, so
you'll hear of the options.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

I have read that Microsoft will offer SP2 on CD-ROM for free in
retail stores.
